00.05 - Midnight Blue Meteorite (Limited Edition)

Beautiful watch. I am getting compliments all the time

This watch is as unique as it is jam-packed with features. The hands are elegant and add a degree of refinement. The 24-hour sun/moon disc is a really cool feature that I've only ever seen on a now-discontinued Rolex Cellini model. Speaking of which, when the hour marker and sun/moon line up, it's really cool! The dial's geometric pattern catches the light really well, but the hands, hour markers, and stars can appear to glow/twinkle in most light. The crown is small, but it hangs slightly lower than the broadside of the case, which allows you to easily push it out. I opt for the bracelet, and I find it quite comfortable. I have hairy arms, and I'm glad to report that it does not pull hairs, and the links are small enough that a good fit is more likely to be achieved despite the lack of a micro-adjust. The bracelet does not jangle and has a pleasant taper. The movement is pretty accurate; I'm unsure if it's regulated or if I got very lucky, but it keeps time very well. The ticking noise is so faint that I can barely hear it even when I put it next to my ear. Finally, the watch didn't have any marks on the case or debris under the dial when it arrived.

I have a tiny spaghetti wrist, and the 48mm lug-to-lug ensures I have no lug gaps. The 40mm dial diameter looks pleasing, and the 13mm thickness barely passes. If you have a small wrist, this will most likely fit you and look good!

My only gripe with this watch is how loud the rotor is but when you’re out and about, it’s hard to notice. You are also sacrificing the heat-treated hands, but because the dial is blue, I'm glad they prioritized legibility over cramming features.

I am truly impressed by the Selten 00.05 with the black leather strap. It is very comfortable, beautiful dial and arms and showcases its amazing midnight blue unique color. Very comfortable, it sits nicely even in a huge wrist like mine.
My only negative remark is regarding the metal bracelet. It feels too fragile. I opt for the leather and zero regrets.

I am so happy with my Selten 00.05. I chose the leather strap. Super comfortable and lightweight. It is a piece of art on the wrist. Elegant, beautiful.
