This unique bronze edition features a one-of-the-kind dial which was hand patina'd by our artist from the States with his unique recipe with a CuSn8 bronze case that will develop a natural patina with your own touch. Hereby we sincerely invite you to take part in this Patina project - we've done the dials, and it's your take to thrive the bronze case in patina.

I love it cause:
1. The green mossy like dial is simply stunning and well matched with the bronze case. After 2 weeks of use, the green patina dial looks even better now. I still can’t stop looking at the watch after 2 weeks of use.
2. 39mm case size coupled with the silicon straps are so comfortable that I wear it all the time even to sleep.
3. The straps buckle patinated earlier than the case, maybe because I touch the buckle more often. The bronze darkened to even more beautiful bronze.
4. Miyota 9039 is incredibly accurate for non COSC certified movement. 2 weeks of use already and I have not even adjusted it and the minute is still accurate.
5. The after sales service from Selten is on the ball. I sent a query right after ordering online as I erroneously entered wrong shipping address. Leonardo responded almost instantly and sent me revised confirmation order on same day. Even emailed me to ask for feedback on the watch after 14 days.
Beautiful and well made watch. Easily the most unique and fun watch to wear. At 39mm it's the perfect size. Not so large to attract attention but if anyone is into watches they will for sure comment on how beautiful it is.
Love the dial contrast. Love the bronze body. Love the Simple design concept.. hour, minute and second hands just to tell time. Patiently waiting for the patina to set in!

A patina refers to the thin layer that appears on the surface of copper to protect it from harm. Time and temperature can change the color of this protective layer; controlled or forced patination can create patina colors like blue, green, and gold. We also use many different materials to alter the appearance of the metals. This includes natural products, chemicals, salt, rain, wood, soil, or fire.
However, patinas cannot be fully controlled. Thus, the patina on every Salvage Bronze dial is one-of-a-kind. This makes every single Salvage Bronze timepiece inherently unique.
We have paired our Salvage Bronze patina dial with a bronze case. As time goes on, the bronze case will form a patina as well. Together, the dial and case will show the passage of time, creating a slightly different artistic piece with each passing moment.

Box-Shaped Crystal aka Top Hat Crystal has the great benefit of allowing to lower the bezel, which makes the watch frame much slimmer.
The drawback is that the manufacturing process is extremely tedious and causes the production price to increase fourfold! The presence of a box-shaped crystal can usually be interpreted as a sin that the brand is not sparing expenses when it comes to quality.
Swiss Super-Luminova(Old Radium) is used on the bezel, dial and hands.
